General Terms and Conditions
By placing an order on this website you agree to and accept the terms and price specified in this web site. This price includes delivery and GST.
We reserve the right to decline orders for any reason, including, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description or image posted on this web site, or an error in your order. If an order is declined a full refund will be made.
If we are unable to supply the particular product you require, we will contact you, and inform you of the general date of availability or of alternative products, or offer to cancel the sale.
Your contract with Bio-Shield Ltd ( Bio-Shield) will only come into existence when you have fully paid for your order and we provide a confirmation by email to your nominated email address.
By creating an account with Bio-Shield you consent to receiving electronic communications. These communications will include: account status updates, order status updates and other information relating to the service only.
As part of the ordering process we will collect your name, delivery address, email address and phone number to facilitate delivery. This information is stored on our secure server and not used to target advertising on other websites, shared or sold to third-parties or businesses overseas.
If you delete your account this information will be deleted.
Credit cards are processed by Windcave on a secure site. Credit card information is not retained by Bio-Shield.
Your private data and information held by Bio-Shield can be accessed and corrected by logging into your account.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include Good and Services tax of 15%.
We reserve the right to alter prices for any reason. If this should happen after you have ordered but before dispatch, the price at the time of the order will stay in effect.
Bio-Shield Ltd accepts payment via credit cards, cash, cheque, direct bank transfer or bank deposit
Purchases via direct bank transfer are to be made as follows:

The order number must be used as a reference on your bank transfer to avoid delays in dispatching your order.
Invoice Payment Terms
For goods shipped on invoice - All goods remain the sole property of Bio-Shield Ltd until payment and monies due are received in full.
Payment is due within 7 days. Late payments may have a $85 administration fee and interest at 20% p.a. added. All costs incurred in recovery of any unpaid invoice or unpaid part of any invoice will be payable by the customer including, debt recovery fees and commissions, legal and and court filing fees.
There is no surcharge on credit card payments.
Incorrect Bank Account Number
If the Customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number, Bio-Shield will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched until full payment is received.
If we cannot supply a particular item we will advise you as soon as possible of a revised delivery time.
Bio-Shield will ensure your order is dispatched promptly. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated time frame.
If the courier company loses your goods in transit, we will replace them at no charge to you. The replacement item will be sent as soon as the courier company confirms the loss of the goods during transit.
Shipping Delivery Costs
All orders to a New Zealand address are delivered free of charge, including to a Rural Delivery address with the exception of Great Barrier Island.
Orders to Great Barrier Island are sent by air freight. Great Barrier Airlines (GBA) impose a further freight charge over and above what we pay to the courier company for delivery.
The GBA freight charge is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Bio-Shield will retain full ownership of the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products.
Ownership of those products & the risk in the products will pass to you on dispatch from Roof Wash.
If a product is found to be incorrectly addressed by Bio-Shield then we will be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product.
If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Bio-Shield will work with the courier company to locate and deliver the product to the correct address. Any additional delivery charges that arise due to the customer providing an insufficient or incorrect address will be borne solely by the customer.
Delivery Time Frames
Auckland. Same day delivery may be possible if the order is placed and payment cleared before 9am, Monday to Friday.
Orders placed and payment cleared after 9am, delivery may occur on the same day, Monday to Friday, or next business day
North Island - 1 to 2 business days
South Island - 1 to 3 business days
Rural Delivery - add 1 day
Australia: Product should arrive at your delivery address within 5-10 working days of payment being received.
Unless specified by the customer at the time of ordering the courier will leave the goods at your unattended property.
In most cases the courier will provide proof of delivery to Bio-Shield.
Damaged goods: If the couriered goods are found to be damaged in transit please advise us immediately. Claims for damage or loss of goods must be filed within 14 days.
Lost Goods: If the goods fail to arrive please advise us as we have a 30 day window to make a claim. If we are advised outside this 30 day time frame ( from the date of dispatch) we reserve the right to reject your claim.

Bio-Shield reserves the right to change any or all of the information contained in these terms or conditions at any time. Bio-Shield Ltd reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders at their sole discretion. Any orders cancelled by Bio-Shield, but already paid for, will receive a full refund.

Returns Policy - Defective Goods
You have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. It states that any goods purchased for personal use may be returned if they are not of an "acceptable quality" including if they are not fit for the purpose for which they are bought, or if they are unsafe.
If goods are returned within the terms of this provision, Bio-Shield will provide a refund or a replacement product within a reasonable period of time at our expense.
We are unable to accept returns on any product that has been opened by you.
Once an payment for an order has been made and the order has been confirmed the order cannot be cancelled.
Choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Bio-Shield provide an Unconditional Warranty to domestic customers that Bio-Shield will work as claimed in this website.
Bio-Shield will provide a full replacement of the product, delivered to you at no charge.
Goods and services acquired by a person, or organisation in trade or used in trade are exempt from the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
